W e try to make it as easy as possible for our clients to create and maintain their online presence – it shouldn’t be a chore to build a website, it’s more of a chance to get your message out there to the public.
Amongst other things that means that we make sure that you are fully involved throughout – from the initial discussions all the way through to the final uploading of your site.
We try to make the process as painless as possible.
Not only that, but your hosting for the first year is free!
How it works
We meet with you to discuss your requirements, such as the type and size of the site. We also discuss any preferences you may have relating to the style or theme of your website.
Once we have discussed the basics, we then create drafts of the site that show the overal look, for your comments and suggestions. As far as possible we will integrate your suggestions (within reason!) and adjustments can be made where necessary. When the framework of the site is finalised, the content is supplied by you and we integrate it into the website itself.
Some things to bear in mind
Here are just a few things that may help you to decide what you want in your website. You don’t need to decide straight away as things can be changed as we go along, but we find that it helps you to decide what you would like, by just considering these points at the outset: -
- What is the aim of the site?
- Do you want to change the content fairly easily?
- Do you want to know how many people visit the site?
- What topics do you want to include?
- How many pages?
- What images do you want to include, e.g. photo of your premises, or logo?
We’ve added a downloadable guidebook that may help you to go through the basics of setting up your site, for example the pages you want to include, what content or style you may like. It is only meant as a guide and you don’t have to fill in every section – it will just help you to consider various points.
