Content Management
W ebsites have different uses, depending on whether it’s a blog, a personal website or a business website.
Many websites are built and the content hardly changes over time, but many others do need to be changed – either minor changes or whole sections, depending on what the website is used for.
Content Management means that you have the capability of making changes to your website, without having to have the knowledge of a website designer.
We use the WordPress system for Content Management as it has a user-friendly approach to making changes to text and images on the websites that use it. It is similar to using a word processor, so it’s familiar to use and easy to get used to.
This means that you can easily make changes as and when you need to (or at least most of the changes!) which provides you with the speed and flexibility that can be really useful. As an added bonus, this flexibility is also cost-effective, because you reduce the need for paying for the changes to be made.
Many people are pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to change their content and it is entirely up to you whether or not you use it, or how often you use it.
